Privacy and data use

Training@Medipol is an internal employee-training service operated by Medipol Pharmaceutical India Private Limited. It uses the minimum information needed to assign training, protect confidential material, record completion, and support compliance review.
Information recorded
- Account details such as name, registered email, system-assigned or supplied employee ID, role, department, and account status.
- Course assignments, distinct video ranges watched, assessment responses and results, completion evidence, and certificates.
- Security and operational records such as sign-in attempts, playback sessions, administrative changes, audit events, and service errors. IP and device information may be processed for security and abuse prevention.
- Training videos, captions, transcripts, questions, and related material supplied by authorised administrators.
How the information is used
Information is used only to operate and secure the portal, deliver assigned learning, measure genuine completion, review assessment outcomes, issue verifiable certificates, provide support, investigate misuse, and meet Medipol’s training and quality obligations.
Service providers and content protection
Cloudflare provides application hosting and security, Mux provides protected video processing and delivery, and Resend delivers transactional portal email. Signed playback and moving watermarks deter copying, but no web service can prevent every screen recording or capture by an authorised viewer.
Google Drive archival remains disabled until its separate OAuth setup is completed. AI-assisted question drafting remains unavailable until its dedicated infrastructure, credential, and evaluation gate are complete. When enabled, employee identifiers will not be sent to the AI provider.
Retention
Operational audit events are retained for one year. When an employee account has been archived for three years, active credentials are removed, direct identifiers are replaced with a non-identifying surrogate, and that employee's completion, assessment, and certificate evidence is deleted.
Access and support
Employees can view their profile, assigned learning, released results, and certificates in the portal.
